Previous netbook of ASUS, the 1015PEM seemed to be quite decent in terms of performance and while it was not the best, which still made for a good netbook. Now with the 1015PX, certainly hope that ASUS is trying to bring something different here.
 Design and Build Quality
The 1015PX that came in our laboratories was white one. While there is nothing reallygreat design, non-glossy finish on the lid is good especially to avoid stains, which are quite common with glossy surfaces. The bottom half of the netbook has a fine texturedesign that gives a nice grip. After opening the netbook, the 10.1-inch non-glare displaywith LED backlight 600 x 1024 pixels resolution which has a matte finish, was in contrast to the glossy facade around it.
The keyboard has a chiclet keyboard design which means that the keys are well spaced out. One issue I had with the keyboard was that the key sizewas very small. Also, while it is quite subjective, I feel that somehow the keyboard should have a nice solid feel and the keys. The trackpad is quite good in terms of reaction, butthe button down below some of the rare contracts that have a single button with both leftand right click functions.
The build quality 1015PX is another benefit of the netbook, I mean that right from the lid, the screen, keyboard and all ports around the netbook is very well made and has a solid feel. 1015PX is well stocked in terms of connecting to Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n @ 2,4 GHz and 3,0 Bluetooth, as well. There are also three USB 3.0 ports around the netbook, which makes it pretty much future proof. Also included are RJ45 ports and a VGA monitor port provided on the left. There is a card SD / SDHC / MMC card reader thrown in as well.
While it could be called the best, 1015PX features are quite good. Looking at the specifications, the 1015PX not intended to crunching numbers, but it is simple to use as a processing and viewing documents, surfing the internet, watching some movies, and so forth. While the results look pretty decent compared to most netbooks we’ve seen recently, there are some other things that should be mentioned too.
Anti-glare screen 1015PX definitely adds to the comfortable viewing, but viewing angles themselves are not good enough. While the opening / closing the cover, dim the screen brightness. Also trying to run some video and music for the netbook. It is fairly safe to say that watching the video is very nice, speakers are not loud enough and have no outstanding sound quality to boast.
The ASUS 1015PX has good design is pretty much loaded in terms of features andperforms as good as any average netbook. However, it should be called value for money
